TIP #1

SCARIFY your lawns using a machine that you can hire, or you could just use a rake to remove all the dead leaf material and surface runners. If dead leaf material and surface runners are left on your lawn, it will become too thick and be less drought tolerant.

TIP #2

CORE your lawns using a machine which can be hired to take out plugs from grass, this allows new roots to grow and help water to soak in deeper. Fertilise with Shirley’s Number 17 and Dynamic¬†Lifter, water in hourly to prevent leaf and root burn. Top dress your lawn for an even surface.
